    OUR JEWELRY

    We view and create our jewelry as wearable art and ask that it be treated with extra care as such.  Our pieces are individually handcrafted with 14k and 18k solid gold, and an array of precious and semi-precious gemstones (unless specified otherwise in the item description i.e. Sterling Silver).  We are proud to source all of our supplies locally, and create each one of our pieces in NYC.

     

    GENERAL INFO

    Due to the delicate nature of our jewelry designs and stones, each piece should be handled with care. We stress the importance in choosing jewelry that is appropriate for your lifestyle. 

    Because of the handcrafted nature of our pieces there can be small differences between products. Gemstones may vary in shape, size, clarity and color. Please note that slight irregularities, variations in craftsmanship, natural characteristics, internal inclusions, visible or otherwise, in the gemstones are unique and individual to each item. These characteristics are considered part of the character and beauty of the item, and should not be considered a defect. 

    We reserve the right to make minor design changes to our pieces without notice, as necessary in the interest of preserving the integrity of the fine jewelry piece, or availability of supplies.

    Clients can request a GIA certificate, if applicable. However, the client will incur the cost of said certificate. We do our best to display products as accurately as possible, however, the actual colors of the metals or stones, or sizes could appear differently from the images on the website. We cannot be responsible for any inaccuracy in this regard. 

     

    JEWELRY CARE

    Our jewelry is special and delicate. We recommend you do not wear your jewelry pieces when exercising, cooking, cleaning, applying makeup, sleeping, swimming, or doing rough work, as these activities can damage the integrity of your pieces. If you have an active lifestyle take extra precautions with your diamond and gemstone jewelry. Emeralds and opals for example, are brittle and should not be worn when doing household chores or any other activity where the stone could be hit or damaged. 

    Do not expose your gemstone pieces to salt water or harsh chemicals, such as chlorine or detergents. These chemicals may slowly erode the finish and polish of gemstones. Hair spray, perfume and perspiration may cause jewelry to become dull. Apply all cosmetics, perfumes and colognes before putting on colored gemstone jewelry. Avoid prolonged sun exposure for colored gemstones as it may fade color. Do not subject gemstone jewelry to sudden temperature changes.

    Diamonds are very strong, but not unbrakeable, they can be chipped or break with a hard enough blow. Diamonds with thin places on their girdles are very vulnerable. To avoid damage, you should only wear your diamond jewelry during activities where you are unlikely to hit them hard against solid objects.

    Some of our gemstones may have been subjected to industry standard enhancing process. We highly suggest you remove colored gemstone jewelry before showering, swimming, hot tubs, dishwashing etc, to ensure and preserve the quality of each piece. Our opal doublets are particularly vulnerable to water exposure, due to it's layers as they are an assembled piece from natural stones.

     Prongs and precious metals wear over time and may require restoration work as part of regular maintenance. It is your responsibility to properly take care of your jewelry in order to avoid losing or damaging your stones. 

    Argelia Hadrovic LLC is not responsible for broken or lost stones, however we offer stone replacements, polishing, prong tightening and other jewelry maintenance/repair for a reasonable fee. 

    Cleaning and storage

    Make sure to clean your gemstone jewelry after wearing to remove any chemicals, oils or perspiration. Simply wipe thoroughly with a clean, soft, slightly damp cloth. 

    Clean your diamonds regularly using only water and a mild detergent. Dip the jewelry into the solution and use a very soft brush to dislodge dust or dirt from under the setting. Avoid touching your clean diamonds with your fingers. Handle clean jewelry by its edges.

    Store all jewelry pieces after use individually in its original container/box to prevent scratching and tangling. Do not use ultrasonic cleaners as it can damage gemstones and the integrity of our pieces.  

     

    REPAIRS

    We're here to help! Please contact us if you need any repairs on our jewelry.
    Email us to get an approval at repairs@argeliahadrovic.com before sending your item/s. Please provide the following information:
    -Name of the item in need of repair
    -The repair description/issues
    -Current images of the issue and piece from different angles
    -The original sales invoice
    -Your contact information
     
    If we determine that we can accept your repair we will email you (the client), a return authorization number and shipping information. An initial estimate will be provided either prior to or upon receipt of your item, the cost may change depending on the nature and extent of the repair. We are not responsible for your item until it is in our possession. Repairs typically take 4-6 weeks (plus shipping) once we received the piece. If an item will take longer to be repaired, we will communicate that to you after inspecting the piece.
    You will be responsible for paying shipping costs for repairs on your item/s. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you are shipping an item over $100, you should consider using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance according to the value of your piece. We cannot guarantee that we will received your returned item/s for repairs.
     
    Once we have the piece in our possession and the final repair cost has been approved, you will be charged for the repair plus the cost of shipping the item back with the appropriate insurance. When your item is shipped back you will be sent tracking information, as a signature is required upon delivery. Unfortunately at this time we are not able to handle any international repairs. We hope to be able to offer this at some point in the future. 

    We will only accept repairs for items purchased on argeliahadrovic.com. Repairs for items purchased at one of our retailers must be returned through the original point of purchase and cannot be accepted directly by us (Argelia Hadrovic LLC).

     

    WARRANTY

    Our warranty covers our product for one month after delivery from issues we feel are manufacturing defects or a mistake in the order from our part. Any such manufacturing defect or mistakes will be repaired, or corrected according to our discretion. Shipping and handling fees will be covered for customers based in the USA only. Upon inspection, if we determine that the damage is not caused by a manufacturing defect, we will notify you and provide you a quote for the repair, if available. Repairs needed after one week from the delivery date, or deemed to be caused by misuse will incur in a repair charge at the customer's expense. 

    Fine jewelry is not impervious to normal wear, activities or trauma. This is particularly true for rings, bracelets and cuffs, since hands are regularly subjected to considerable abuse. Please read our maintenance, cleaning and storage instructions to extend the life of your pieces. We stress the importance in choosing jewelry that is appropriate for your lifestyle.

    We do not provide warranties for normal wear and tear, and/or negligence, theft, product loss, scratches, loss of gemstones, diamonds, pearls, or other types of stones or embellishment or any misuse or improper storage. Please note that our product warranty applies only to the customer whose name is on the receipt and purchased items directly from argeliahadrovic.com. Our product warranty will be void if someone other than Argelia Hadrovic LLC has made repairs, maintenance, alterations or other services to the piece. 

    Damage or loss that results from failure to obtain repairs necessary by Argelia Hadrovic LLC to maintain the integrity of the product are also not covered. Please follow our Repairs instructions below, and write "Warranty" in the subject line for your email message.

      

    RETURNS

    Because all pieces are made to order, refunds and returns are not accepted. If the buyer feels dissatisfied with their jewelry, kindly contact us so we can try to remedy the situation to the best of our abilities. Please note that we can only offer solutions that fall within our stated guidelines.
